Alaant Workforce Solutions is seeking a Finance and Operations Manager for a local non-profit The Finance and Operations Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization. This role will focus heavily on financial responsibilities, including managing the month-end close process, preparing financial statements, and providing data-driven insights for senior leadership. Additionally, this role will support operational functions, ensuring smooth and efficient business processes.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement. Salary is $70,000 - $75,000 / year with excellent benefits, 100% on-site.

Responsibilities for the Finance and Operations Manager Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciling accounts, journal entries, and managing accruals.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Manage cash flow and optimize working capital by monitoring receivables, payables, and cash requirements.
Develop, implement, and optimize internal processes to improve efficiency and support organizational goals.
Assist with vendor management, procurement, and contract negotiations.
Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to finance and operations.


Requirements for the Finance and Operations Manager Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
3 plus years experience in finance and operations management including month end closes
